Summer weather means it’s time for summer scrapping! This page was inspired by a trip I took with my boyfriend nearly two years ago to Lake George in New York. We rented kayaks to go onto the lake. It was such a gorgeous day: sunny, warm (but not too hot) and wonderful overall.
I have accumulated quite a bit of travel-related embellishments, and the colors of the kayaks just fit so perfectly with this set that I was inspired.
I absolutely love this quote. I don’t have the best cursive handwriting in the world, so if you can’t read it, it says, “Every day and every place is a vacation with you!” It fits perfectly with what I felt on this trip. <3
Anthony wasn’t nearly as close to me as I was to him in taking each others’ photos, but I think it still came out pretty well! I’ve discovered a liking for cutting out the figures in my scrapbook pages – just like tearing paper, I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and into a much more interesting and fun realm of scrapping! :)
